#3 Connecting Social Account with App:
Integrating app with an account is a cool way to make your social account more exciting to use. For Facebook, Apps like Birthday poster which saves your time & strength by automatically posting to your friend’s wall cute birthday picture and Wishes whenever they have a birthday. While for twitter, apps like Unfollowers.me which tells you Who Un-followed you and how many followers you gain.
Despite the usefulness of integrated apps, do you know that some malicious Apps exist among them? The app after connected to your account might post “malicious link” on behalf of you without you knowing.
How to prevent this: Just be sure and conscious of the app you connect with your social account, as there are lots of walking dead apps out there waiting to infest your social accounts.
#2 Saving your Password on a Public Computer:
A public computer means a shared computer that is used by lots of people e.g. a Cybercafe.
On Social Network website whenever you wanted to log-in on the computer, there is a small square box usually below the login which says (Remember Password). This box when checked saved your password so that when next time you visit the website, you won’t enter your login details again since it has automatically been saved.
How to solve this: Always remember not to use the “check box” when using a shared computer.
#1 Using a Too-Simple Password:
Some hackers actually do form or let me use the word “suggest” your password. When you use a simple password, hackers might guess it and get it right. Example is; in a case where your email is firstname.lastname@example.org and you use your password as lagbaja.
What to-do: Always do try to use a more complicated password which is going to be hard for others to guess. And I will suggest you change your password regularly.
