Perched on the highest floor of Innside by Meliá Bangkok Sukhumvit is Luz Bangkok Tapas Bar, a rooftop tapas bar in the heart of Bangkok that offers majestic views of the bustling city. The best time to park yourself in the outdoor lounge dotted with sunbeds (and adjacent to the infinity pool) is when the sun is about to set; enjoy the view as you sip on refreshing cocktails such as sangrias, mojitos and martinis. Make the most out of your experience by feasting on delectable Spanish food imbued with Thai accents, and crafted using local ingredients. Our top picks include the tuna tartare with a refreshing tomato cold soup ideal for Bangkok’s humid weather; sea bass sashimi with a Thai-inspired spicy pickled chilli sauce; and chargrilled octopus served with mashed potatoes flavoured with paprika and olive oil. To end on a sweet note, you can’t go wrong with the crispy churros dipped in a decadent chocolate sauce.
