COO and Co-founder, Klook
Eric Gnock Fah is behind Klook, Asia’s largest travel and leisure booking app
Eric Gnock Fah is a co-founder and the current chief operating officer of leading travel and leisure booking platform Klook, which he established in 2014 together with Bernie Xiong and Ethan Lin, and has spread from Hong Kong, through Asia, then to the wider world, offering competitively priced accommodation and experiences that can be accessed with a few taps.
Under Gnock Fah's leadership, Klook has expanded its presence to over 400 destinations worldwide, focusing on leveraging technology to transform the way people plan and experience their travels by making it easier for travelers to discover and book unique experiences wherever they go. “Some people I talk to tell me, ‘I don’t plan trips; I’m not the type who plans,’” said Gnock Fah to Tatler in 2020. “That’s exactly why we exist. It’s not just there for people to come and plan. If you want to, sure. But it’s also about spontaneity—when you’re in the destination, fire up your app, have your recommendations and then seamlessly be able to make that booking. That’s what’s empowering.”
