Bar takeover by Atsushi Suzuki, founder and head mixologist of The Bellwood, Tokyo

Kerry Hotel, Hong Kong, is delighted to welcome the world-renowned founder and head bartender Atsushi Suzuki of The Bellwood, Tokyo. The bar is ranked 34 in Asia’s 50 Best Bars in 2024 and 53 in the World’s 50 Best Bars in 2023 and Suzuki will bring his exceptional talent and innovative expertise in mixology to Hong Kong for two unforgettable evenings at Red Sugar from September 13 to 14.

This exclusive two-night bar takeover will feature a curated collection of distinctive cocktails inspired by The Bellwood’s signature drinks, crafted using Scandinavian aquavit brand, Bareksten. The menu is designed to be enjoyed in sequence, mirroring a four-course dining experience. Guests can begin with the starter of Udagawa-Tini; transition to the soup, a Umami Highball; continue with the main course, featuring Something-Roni; and conclude the “meal” with the dessert Tokyo Banana. These one-of-a-kind cocktails have been specially created for this occasion and are sure to delight all senses.
