The Tatler guide to Hong Kong's most interesting neighbourhoods. This time, we explore bustling Causeway Bay
Causeway Bay is....well, it's a lot. It's crowded, it's chaotic and yet, we can't seem to get enough of it thanks to its many great restaurants, rooftop bars and shopping that rivals that in destinations like Seoul or Tokyo. We'd even go so far as to say that it's in Causeway Bay where you can really feel the beating pulse of Hong Kong.
From a legendary Cantonese restaurant to excellent omakase, a traditional Japanese whisky bar to a Sichuanese hidden gem, we explore some of the best that Causeway Bay has to offer.

Roganic
Earthy is the word at Roganic, where wooden tones and pots of plants and flora abound, and where the menu showcases chef Simon Rogan's playful, creative take on seasonal ingredients. Though the menu changes frequently, favourites include the restaurant's signature uni custard with caviar, a beautifully simple grilled salad of cauliflower, kale, and endives, and the unexpected yet stunning pairing of crab with carrot.
Diners can choose from a short or full tasting menu, with wine pairing options available.
