Web3 entertainment company Imaginary Ones is transforming Singapore’s Ten Square Building into the world’s largest gashapon machine

Web3 entertainment company Imaginary Ones has unveiled the largest gashapon machine in the world at Singapore’s Ten Square, Landmark of Good building. The massive installation, which will be up until Monday 23rd September, features its signature bubble characters that have taken over the entire facade of the building.

Says Gregory Poon, founding member and chief marketing officer for Imaginary Ones, “What’s more epic than turning an entire building into the world’s biggest gashapon machine? As we’re known for our bubbles and ball-filled designed characters, I thought it would be an amazing idea to bring our iconic element into a larger-than-life experience. This isn’t just a marketing stunt; it’s a chance for everyone to feel that spark of joy and excitement.”

Adds co-founder David Lee, “We have long dreamed of creating something fun, memorable, and impactful, and now that dream is becoming a reality. We’re transforming the entire building into a vibrant and bubbly space, where everyone can connect, celebrate, and even take home something special.”

Held during Singapore’s Token 2049 conference, Imaginary Ones will also host a series of experiences to bring its community together. “Meeting our community face-to-face always brings a unique and special experience,” says co-founder and Gen.T Leader of Tomorrow Clement Chia. “Our aim has always been to cultivate a vibrant community through our Imaginary Ones characters, and reaching this milestone marks a significant achievement in that journey.”

Guests as well as passersby will also have a chance to win some merchandise. “We’ve got a variety of merchandise for people to win from the gashapon machines. Every capsule brings a little burst of love, bubbles, and happiness straight into your hands,” says Poon.

While the installation is a great marketing coup, it also ties in with the playful and creative spirit of the brand. It brings to life the cherubic, 3D animated characters that Chia had designed as part of an 8,888 limited-edition NFT collection, which sold out within four minutes. In a previous interview with Tatler, he explained, “The inspiration behind the characters is to remind everyone what it felt like when they were young and they could dream of doing or being anything.”

This is yet another feather in the Singapore-based, Web3 company’s cap, which recently launched its first mobile game, Bubble Rangers and has, over the years, worked with brands including the likes of Samsung and Hugo
