Joyce Teng, executive director of Taiwan Equality Campaign since 2017, is committed to being an advocate for Taiwan’s LGBTQ+ community and social movements. She promotes gender equality in municipal government through political participation, social education, international engagement and other initiatives. Since 2022, Taiwan Equality Campaign’s PrideWatch website has recruited a record-breaking 245 LGBTQ+-friendly political candidates.
