The LG Styler steam-cleaned guests’ checked coats and jackets at K11 Night
LG has changed the way its electrical appliances can fit into a home with streamlined, aesthetically pleasing designs, and now it is providing an innovative service for the humble cloakroom during events.
The brand demonstrated how, beyond providing a secure, clean place for people to store their coats throughout the night, cloakroom service can be elevated into something much more. The LG Styler is a unique appliance that uses the brand’s patented TrueSteam technology to eliminate bacteria, allergens and odours from clothes, in a sleek, 185cm-tall tower that can fit up to three coats plus a pair of trousers. The LG Styler takes just 20 minutes to complete its cleaning cycle, with an inbuilt moving hanger that vibrates when the appliance is turned on, so the steam can get to all the folds and crevices of the garments for a more thorough clean.
This December, several LG Styler appliances graced the cloakroom at K11 Night: A Memory Palace, the latest in a series of annual cultural events hosted by K11 Group. At the series of prestigious dinner events, guests who left their coats at the cloakroom could choose to have them cleaned and sanitised in the LG Styler while they immersed themselves in the artworks. After a thought-provoking experience, departing guests slipped back into coats that had been refreshed and revitalised—a subtle touch of luxury and innovation.
