The Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle had welcomed Prince Harry to this house, where she lived while filming ‘Suits’; the home sold for US$1.39 million less than a week after it was listed for sale
The Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle’s former home in Toronto, where she lived while filming the US TV series Suits and during the early days of her relationship with Prince Harry, was reportedly sold after spending just days on the market in late August.
The three-bedroom, two-bathroom, two-storey detached house is located in the Seaton Village neighbourhood in Toronto. It was listed for CAD$1.895 million (approximately US$1.4 million) on August 19 and sold for CAD$1.89 million (approximately US$1.39 million) on August 24, according to the property listings website Zolo.
It is described as an exceptional residence with elegant, high-end finishes. Privacy is afforded through foliage in the remodelled front porch, which leads to the front door, painted “Tiffany blue”, according to its listing. It also has what is described as a backyard retreat ideal for entertaining and a double-car garage with a Tesla charger.

The property in the listing has been widely identified by media outlets as Markle’s former home; she reportedly lived there for about two years, until 2017, when she moved to Kensington Palace in London. She and Prince Harry announced their engagement in the same year and married in 2018.
In Prince Harry’s 2023 memoir, Spare, he wrote that he had visited Markle at the home for the first time in October 2016. She was excited to show him “her life, her dogs [and] her little house, which she adored”. Markle reportedly lived there with her dogs, Guy and Bogart.
