Nestled in Global Trade Square, Wong Chuk Hang, the cafeteria, run by the arts charity Sapientia Foundation, combines art with yummy food. Apart from being a cosy spot to grab coffee, tea and healthy bites, the space also doubles as a small museum which displays Chinese ceramics, cups, plates and other porcelain objects. Also being on the 33rd floor of the office building, it looks out to the lush Aberdeen Country Park and the sea. See if you can spot the waterfall from your perch!

Sip the Moment

A message to HKUers: we found a cosy spot near you! With just a 10-minute walk away from Centennial Campus, this café is perfect for getting drinks and coffee after class. Known for its rusty, hole-in-the-wall decor and mouthwatering pastries, Sip the Moment has made a name for itself as being the ideal quiet retreat for nearby university students. It is just right if you want to come after class and lock in for the rest of the day, as it is slightly removed from the bustling centre of Kennedy Town, making it an intimate retreat with just you and the energy you bring to the table.
