An architect by training, food designer and stylist Slow Chen created the website Slow Food Hall in 2011 and also has a food photography studio. In 2021, she founded Louu, which uses traditional pickling techniques to transform ugly produce into gourmet items. She then opened the grocery store Neighbour in the Da’an district, which has quickly become one of Taipei's trendiest.
