Only 11 percent of plastic is currently recycled globally, largely because it is impractical to do so with most of the rest. Sophie Chapman’s company EcoBricks, however, can recycle a far wider range of plastic waste, turning it into environmentally friendly concrete without generating any harmful emissions. Its partnership with Hong Kong property developer Sino Group, for example, has seen more than 15,000 EcoBricks used at the latter’s Gold Coast Piazza development.
