Jessica Jung and Janice Man visit the S.T. Dupont’s Harvey Nichols Pacific Place boutique
With more than 150 years of history, S.T. Dupont is embarking on a bold new chapter that both celebrates its glorious past and sets its sights firmly on the future. The Parisian brand is currently unveiling a sleek, contemporary new identity, in parallel with a return to its roots in luxury travel cases, via the launch of new lines of women’s, men’s and unisex leather goods.
Furthermore, the brand is progressively rolling out a modernised design for its boutiques. Indicating how important Hong Kong is to the label, it chose Hong Kong as one of the first cities globally to launch its new store concept. Friends of S.T. Dupont Janice Man and Jessica Jung became among the first in the city to experience the refreshed Asia flagship store at Pacific Place Harvey Nichols—as captured in an exclusive video by Tatler Hong Kong.
Utterly contemporary yet rich in historic references, the new store concept draws its core inspiration from the brand’s iconic lacquers, goldsmith expertise, alongside its first lighter, an icon introduced in 1941 that’s often seen as the first luxury lighter of all. Hues span from electric blue to navy, and from mellow peach to vivid yellow, bringing to mind the label’s savoir-faire in lacquer-work, while geometric patterns are redolent of the streamlined elegance of S.T. Dupont’s creations and signature diamond-head motif.
