Fok Ying Tung's chairman is also the foremost sports administrator in Hong Kong
As president of the Hong Kong Football Association, a position he has held since 1997, as well as president of the Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, Timothy Fok occupies a uniquely powerful position at the top of Hong Kong sports administration. An honorary member of the International Olympic Committee who was actively involved with the organisation between 2001 and 2016, he was also a member of the 2008 Olympics Coordination Commission.
The eldest son of legendary business and political figure Henry Fok, he is the chairman of the family-owned Fok Ying Tung Group, as well as of its foundation, which contributes to social development in mainland China. He is also the executive co-chairman of gaming giant SJM Holdings.
A former member of Hong Kong’s Legislative Council, Timothy Fok is a member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and a recipient of a Gold Bauhinia Star. He has three sons: Kenneth, Eric and Jeremy.
