Entomal Biotech, co-founded by Yanni Ching Xin Yan, aims to reduce waste and benefit the environment with its novel technology, which treats biowaste and upcycles it into by-products to be sold. It uses black soldier fly larvae to process food waste, resulting in a waste reduction of up to 80 percent. It’s turned into eco-friendly products including premium pet food and organic compost.
